Metallized PET film is a polyester film coated with a thin layer of metal, typically aluminum, using a vacuum metallization process. This film combines the durability, flexibility, and strength of PET with a shiny, reflective metallic surface. It offers excellent barrier properties against light, moisture, oxygen, and other gases, making it ideal for food and pharmaceutical packaging. Additionally, it provides thermal insulation and enhances the appearance of products with a glossy, high-end look. Metallized PET film is also widely used in electronics, gift wrapping, labels, and decorative applications due to its aesthetic appeal, heat resistance, and protective qualities.
