Bopet Film

BOPET film, or biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate film, is a versatile plastic film made from the polymer PET. It undergoes a process called biaxial orientation, which involves stretching the film in both the machine direction (MD) and transverse direction (TD). This stretching aligns the polymer molecules, resulting in improved mechanical properties such as high tensile strength and dimensional stability. BOPET film is widely used in packaging, electrical applications, labels, tapes, solar panels, and more, thanks to its excellent barrier properties, clarity, and printability.

We produce a wide range of Biaxially Oriented Polyethylene Terephthalate (BOPET) Films. Our total production capacity is 200,000 tons per annum.

Selexible films are offered in thicknesses ranging from 6.5 to 75 microns. These films are available in various types including Plain, Surface Treated, Chemically Coated, Matte, Heat Sealable, Metallizable, Green, Clear, Extra Clear, and many others.

Properties:

This film possesses all the desired properties mentioned under F-PAP. The primer coating applied on one side of the film ensures exceptional adhesion to a wide range of solvent and water-based inks and adhesives, thereby enhancing the bond strength of the laminate. The other side of the film is plain polyester.


Application:

This film grade is specifically designed for FFS (Form-Fill-Seal) machines and is used in flexible packaging applications.

This film is similar to F-CHE film, but it features corona treatment on one side to enhance the bond strength with the other substrate.

Properties:

F-EXC is a transparent BOPET film. The coating applied on one side of the film establishes a strong bond with PE extrusion coating without the need for any primer or mica.


Application:

This film is specifically designed for direct extruded polyethylene adhesion without the need for a primer.

This film is suitable for flexible packaging, hot fill applications up to 80°C, and retortable processes.
