PET film is a thin and flexible sheet made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET) resin. It is transparent, strong, and dimensionally stable. PET film finds applications in packaging, printing, electronics, and automotive industries. It offers excellent clarity, durability, and chemical resistance. PET film is versatile, compatible with different printing methods, and can withstand moderate temperatures.
PET Sheets, with a thickness of 0.031" and above, and PET Films, ranging from 0.015" to 0.030", are transparent polyester materials. These clear PET sheets and thick rigid films are ideal for advertising purposes due to their brightness and transparency. They exhibit high resistance to chemical attacks from acid rain, diesel engine exhaust fumes, and air with salinity, making them suitable for outdoor use in their UV version. Clear PET plastic sheets also possess good impact strength and fire resistance. As a result, they have received B1 certification according to the German DIN4102-1 standard and M2 certification according to the French NFP-507 standard.
