PET sheets possess favorable mechanical properties, with an impact strength that is 3 to 5 times higher than other sheet materials, along with excellent folding resistance. They exhibit resistance to oil, fat, dilute acids, dilute alkalis, and most solvents. Furthermore, PET sheets demonstrate exceptional resistance to both high and low temperatures. They can be utilized for extended periods within a temperature range of 120°C, withstand high temperatures of 150°C and low temperatures of -70°C for short-term use, with minimal impact on their mechanical properties. Additionally, PET sheets have low permeability to gas and water vapor, showcasing excellent resistance to gases, water, oils, and odors. They offer high transparency, effectively blocking ultraviolet rays, and exhibit a glossy appearance. PET sheets are non-toxic, tasteless, ensure good hygiene and safety, and can be directly employed for food packaging.
